Composite Wood/Plastic Shim
Deslauriers' new Composite Wood/Plastic Shim is molded from wood and plastic resin to provide building and environmental advantages:
- 50% greater compression stength (load support) than traditional wood shims
- Waterproof
- Mildew resistant - will not rot
- Impervious to insects
- Resists splitting, splintering, swelling, and warping
- Snaps easier than wood at natural break points (perforations)
- Easily drilled and cut
Uses for the Deslauriers' Composite Wood/Plastic Shim:
- Leveling Doors, Windows, Cabinets, & Appliances
- Mixing Paints and Stains
- Spreading adhesives and glues
The CWPS is 8" long x 1-1/2 wide x 5/16 to 1/16 taper. Packaged 12 pieces per bundle and 24 bundles per carton.
